    History

Spicer Memorial College was established in 1915, and is the oldest of educational institutions in Southern Asia Division. Its graduates hold leadership and vital ministerial, educational and business positions in three continents of the world. Its educational structure and curricular patterns have influenced Adventist educational developments in many countries of Asia and Africa. With the introduction of graduate education since late 1970s, the college has maintained its premiere role in educational leadership throughout the Division. Even though seven other Adventist colleges have opened since 1990s, providing marketable and recognized degrees in education, business, arts and sciences and information technology, Spicer continues to be the hub of Adventist education for the Division, and attracts students from all parts of the Division and abroad.

    Location

Spicer Memorial College is a coeducational boarding institution on the senior-college and graduate level located on a 70-acre estate near the city of Poona, Maharashtra State, in Western India, about 80 miles southeast of Bombay.
